Massive Checkpoint In Tennessee Violated Posse Comitatus Act

The Federal Government is at it again with the most recent check points been set up Tuesday, March 24, at the brake inspection station on Interstate 24 eastbound, near mile marker 135 in Tennessee.

It was reported by the Marion County News that "the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Office of Homeland Security, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, Tennessee Department of Health, Tennessee Emergency Management Agency, Tennessee Department of Transportation, Tennessee Department of Revenue,

Marion County Sheriff’s Department, Monteagle Police Department, Tennessee National Guard, Arnold Air Force Base Police, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms, Department of Commerce & Insurance and the Federal Bureau of Investigation," were agencies that participated.

THP Sergeant John Harmon said to a gathering of law enforcement officials during the pre-checkpoint briefing,"The object (of the checkpoint) is to look at as many trucks as possible. I want to find something; I want to prevent something from happening.”
The check point did not find any dirty bombs, nuclear missiles, Osama Bin Laden or any terrorist, but did find the average, "12 drivers for hours of service of violations, 14 out of service trucks, 59 safety defects, one possession of alcohol, one driving without a license, one driving without a commercial license, two wanted persons, one illegal alien and one DUI" said Harmon.
This checkpoint is illegal and goes against the Posse Comitatus Act, "due to the fact the Arnold Air Force Base Police participated." Reports Kurt Nimmo.
It is also noted in the Marion County News, that "these checkpoints will be held randomly throughout the year."
